Some others - like the Morgenthaler - were intended to be "joke" ones but came out surprisingly different (to me) than expected. On the other hand, unlike the Oh Gosh and the Dr. Bamboo, I actually made and drank this one - and to be completely honest, the original intent of the series was to make more joke drinks, and I'd rather do a slightly funny (which I thought it was, admittedly a few beers in) drink than do another half-assed one. Also, this wasn't anywhere NEAR as bad as I expected (though we debated using Strega versus Cynar). In fact, I'd say I'd be more likely to drink this again than the Mmm, for instance, as this came out to be almost like a super-digestif. This time, though, I wouldn't let burn so long that I almost burned my lips on the shot glass. :-) After three weeks of doing these every day it's very easy to succumb to the temptation of going half-assed which is also why I've been asking for suggestions. :-) Now just wait until you see the Boudreau-ing Boudreau... As it so happened, I'm out of GNS, and had to do a float of J Wray instead, so it was really more of a Rick the Bastard.
