This is a good topic and I think you could really follow it up. You know I think one of the great things about Birmingham is a wealth of friendly bartenders especially in the high end cocktail establishments. Now that I have less money than every though the place I miss the most is a Craft Beer Taproom I'd been visiting for 5 years now.

Everyone is a peach and goes out of there way to be helpful. And regulars are always easy conversation even if they'd rather be left alone. It's the one place in the ham I know I'd always miss.

Pretty much the duty of a customer is to want to have a good time, and allow others to entertain you. Sure there are jerks out there on both sides of the bar, but mixing booze with unhealthy environments isn't cool. That said, sounds like both the reviewer and the bartender each had a bad day, maybe a second chance is in order?

Definitely agree about not posting negativity; our blog drops all bad recipes, and sometimes good recipes that were poorly made or made by a rude bartender. It's more important to promote what is good in the world and let the bad be forgotten.

With criticism, it's best to take the high road and either reply politely or not at all.
