After a long day of drinking, I ended up at PS7, and Gina had to show off her latest toy.
It puts the patron in the basket
It seems it’s a bicycle – from Michael Collins Irish whiskey! And it’s had a horn added, and a basket that can hold 175 pounds (not enough for this erstwhile blogger, it seems, unless I went back to high school skinny…).
Now, I wasn’t allowed to ride it drunkenly through the restaurant as much as I really really really wanted to. But, to be fair, I was also drunk. But I did remember one thing Gina asked me to do:

On April 16th, 2011, PS7 will be doing a pig roast with paired cocktails! It’s $95 for the roast, and $50 for the cocktails (tax and gratuity not included). I’ll be there, along with my brother. I’m extremely excited about this event.

Yeah, it’s been a while since I posted, and after running my mouth on Facebook during the NFL championships I need to post about vodka. IT WILL BE DONE.
On our menus section, the PS7 menu has been updated!
In case you haven’t heard, the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Brewer’s Ball is March 12th, 2011. I’ll be there, and if you buy tickets through the site – which I highly recommend you do because it’s an awesome event – use my name as your referral. Lots of great beer, food, auctions, and just fun.
Now it’s time for some infusions and drink experimenting. I’ve been sticking with beer or straight booze lately for the most part – I’ve just been so busy! But we’re going to see what we can do. And, hey, it’s a three day weekend. Might have to throw a cigar or two in there as well.

We have one brand new feature to the Den, and one changed feature, to show y’all today.? I’ve been working on these a lot lately and so I hope you find them as cool as I do.? And if you don’t…well, whatever, MAN, you just don’t get it!
Kidding, kidding, of course.
First, look up at our header.? You’ll see a new menu there – “Menus”!? We’ve started working with LOCAL DC-area restaurants to put their cocktail menus online.? We’re not trying to do food, or beer & wine (though for right now I am putting beer & wine on if it’s on the same sheet of paper as the cocktail menu – that’ll of course depend on how much work it ends up being).? The menu is there in both PDF format (to print, or to take with you on another device) and in HTML so you can search it.? Any mistakes are my fault.
So just click on up there to see our first two restaurants, PS7 and Eventide.
