Home Bar Consulting

Looking to outfit that new wet-bar in the basement? Maybe you are looking to set up a modest home bar for entertaining friends and family? Or maybe just throwing a holiday party and want to show off your mixological skills? Contact Scofflaw’s Den and we will work with you to determine a budget, what types of cocktails you want to make, what spirits and modifying agents you may need, and how to set up your new bar.  We will counsel you on what types and brands of spirits you will need and even accompany you to your local liquor store if requested.

Custom Cocktails

Whether the holidays, a wedding or the big game, give us a call and we will work with you to create custom cocktails for your occasion.  Hate bourbon and love tequila? We’ll use your likes and dislikes to create any number of custom cocktails each one perfectly suited to your tastes.  For each custom cocktail you will receive a recipe sheet and taught how to make each drink to perfection.

Although over the years I had developed a taste for quality beer, I had retained my distaste of any liquor that looked and smelled (to me) like oak-aged turpentine. Marshall and Seanmike gently–with their knowledge and passion for mixology–indoctrinated me into the world of ‘stuff that isn’t vodka/cranberry.’  These gentlemen not only know their stuff amazingly well but they’re also amazingly patient with cocktail virgins (like I was) and novices (as I aspire to be). All the while, they know the ins and outs, the patrons, and the conductors of the local industry which perpetuates the confidence I have that they are my wisely chosen mentors, the walking Wikipedia of mixology.

Marshall and Sean Mike have really expanded my cocktail horizons! Before, I basically knew what kinds of drinks I like but I didn’t really step outside those boundaries much. Now, though, I better understand why different spirits and flavors go well together and am much more confident in mixing my own drinks or ordering things I wouldn’t have before.

-Jenny V.

Marshall and SeanMike have greatly increased my horizons when it comes to cocktails and mixology.  In addition to an amazing wealth of knowledge regarding classic preparation of drinks and bartending, they have a creative knack for making pleasant and potent potables that are sure to please any palate! Their passion for this subject is both from the perspective of the industry professional and the home-hobby-enthusiast.  Since having discussions with the Scofflaws, I walk into my neighborhood bar as a much more educated consumer if still not quite a connoisseur.
