One thing about the Pernod - I think that Pernod&#039;s top note of anise/licorice is so strong that that is what turns most people off.  After having both the Lucid and Kubler, the Pernod seems very one dimensional.  This isn&#039;t to say it doesn&#039;t deserve a place in one&#039;s bar, but I think the utilizations have been limited with the onset of Absinthes (Absinthii?) on the market.

Oh, BTW, saw something Joe earlier today . . . St. George Distillery&#039;s Absinthe should be in DC soon!  Thank Jeebus I get my bonus on Friday . . .</description>
