		<description>There are lots.  One that&#039;s pretty popular when I mix at parties is the Hoop La (has other historical names with the same exact recipe).  It&#039;s equal parts (3/4 oz) cognac, Lillet blanc, lemon juice, and Cointreau.

My most recent cognac cocktail favorite is the Saratoga Cocktail (1 oz each of cognac, rye, and sweet Vermouth, plus 2 dashes Angostura bitters) which is pretty much a stripped down and less complex Vieux Carre.</description>
