Great post guys, and thanks for the plug. Clément Créole Shrubb really is something else isn't it? Definitely the big find of my comparison, delicious stuff!

Good write-up buddy!

Since I only get $.02 I'll try and cram as much in as possible in a little bit of time. First, being the bald one of the duo, I guess I'm not the befuddled dolt. However, I would point out my tasting notes for the straight Creole Shrub tasting where I adroitly point out that it had a "very slightly bitter" taste. Ah-hem . . .

Anyway, I have to agree that the Creole Shrub was my favorite and I can't wait to try it in place of triple secs or curacaos in tiki drinks. Hell, I will at least try it in any drink that calls for a triple sec/curacao at least once!

If someone asks which of the three they should buy, and this being the only triple sec/curacao they were to buy, I would tell them to buy Cointreau. It is the most versatile of the three being that it won't add the cognac or rum bases to your cocktails.

I'll also second Sean's idea to check out Jay's post over at Oh, Gosh! Great stuff.

Well, I'd better wrap this up before my $.02 runs ou. . .
