As I write this, I’m on-board a Virgin American flight to LA. The main purpose of the trip is to visit the GF’s family and celebrate Lunar New Year. But luckily, I’ll also get to visit some friends whom I haven’t seen since Tales of the Cocktail 2009.
On Sunday, after the SuperBowl, we plan on heading over to 320 Main to visit Rumdood who will be behind the stick.
Monday night, we’re heading to downtown LA to meet up with Rumdood, Chuck & Wes from “Gumbo Pages”, Marleigh and Dan from “Sloshed!”, and Forrest from “a drink with Forrest.”
It should be a great time and I’m really looking forward to see the cocktail scene in LA, and, more importantly the cocktails themselves.
