Some plans

Yeah, I know, we’ve been quiet lately!

My E3 coverage for GamersInfo.net kind of wiped me out a bit. Still, I’ve got some plans coming up for some things I want to try ’round these parts.

Sobieski Vodka sent us each a bottle to try out. I’ve done one taste test of it so far. I poured some in a rocks glass and took a second glass with me that had ice in it. The bouquet of the vodka was surprisingly subtle, I thought, and I actually liked the taste of it quite a bit more than I do my usual vodka (Charodei). I was flat out surprised, in fact, at how much I liked it.

The marketing material they sent with it was, well, what I’d consider stupid but despite my ability to be swayed by marketing it doesn’t mean I like a lot of it.

I’ve also got an order of miracle berry tablets coming early next week. These are the ones that you eat and it makes things that are tart or sour or something like that taste sweet. I’ve always wanted to try them and I think it might interesting to do a taste test through the liquor cabinet under the influence of them.

Next weekend we’ve got some plans – possibly a bar crawl on Friday night, and it looks like we might head over to Copper Fox Distillery in Sperryville on Saturday if everything works out. As usual, we’ll keep y’all informed.

Now go out and enjoy the day – if it’s anything like the weather here in DC it’s fantastic outside.
