In today’s news, several cocktail bloggers were spotted tearing through Owen Thomson’s cocktail menu last night at Bourbon in Adams Morgan in what could only be described as a booze-fest.? It’s being reported that those in attendance were SeanMike and Marshall of The Scofflaw’s Den and Rick of KaiserPenguin.com accompanied by the lovely Char.
We’re getting intermitant reports that the celebrations will continue tonight in the U Street neighborhood of the District of Columbia.? Our informants have discovered that beginning at 6pm tonight, a theives den (or a den of Scofflaws if you will) will be converging on the corner of 14th and U St. at a spot called The Gibson.? We’ve learned that in addition to the Scofflaws and Kaiser Penguin himself, a new recruit to the cocktail blogosphere, a Mr. Matt Browner Hamlin of A Jigger of Blog, will also be in attendance.
Our reporters are urging people to NOT stay away from U St. or The Gibson around 6pm tonight.? These ruffiuns who will be in attendance are reportedly extremely friendly and love to meet new people.? If spotted, please consider them unarmed and possibly intoxicated.? Approach without caution and strike up a conversation.
